rule

The one student with the highest GPA in a single year will be awarded the highest academic standing.
The top 10 students, excluding the top student, based on single-year GPA will be awarded the Academic Excellence Award.
However, both the Academic Highest Award and the Academic Excellence Award are open to first- and second-year students who have earned 40 or more credits in the academic year, and third-year students who have earned 20 or more credits.
