Thanks to the people at Career Center, I was able to find a company that I wanted to work for.
I am currently working at a company that manufactures and sells school bags, and we are working under the philosophy of "thinking of children." Choosing a school bag is a big purchase for children. I have a strong desire to make the decision to choose a school bag a good memory, and I chose this company because I wanted to support my child in this once in a lifetime purchase. During my job search, I was worried about how to find a company among the many available. I received advice on how to search for a company during a personal interview at Career Center, and was able to find a company that seemed to suit me. Thanks to the kindness of the people at the center, I found a company that made me think, "I want to join this company," which led to my job offer. Also, since I was not good at interviews, I practiced remote interviews at the center. They carefully instructed me on how to choose words and how to speak in a way that would be more easily conveyed to the other person, and supported me in practicing many times, so I was able to communicate without feeling nervous during the actual interview. When you start job hunting, you will have to submit a lot of application forms, so if you try to act early, you will have more time in your mind and be able to demonstrate your abilities. I think there are times when you are overwhelmed with various things and your anxiety grows, but through conversations with the people at Career Center, you can find out what is stumbling over you and think together with them about solutions to those problems, and you can find them. I know it's really tough, but we hope that you will have a good job hunting experience.

Thanks to everyone at Career Center, my worries were eased.
I have always been interested in the aircraft industry, and when I was looking for a company where I could use the knowledge I gained as a student, I found a job opportunity that was unique, maintenance of aircraft training simulators, and I chose this job because I thought it would be a rewarding job. During my job search, I was worried about whether I could write about things I didn't know much about, such as how to write documents and the strengths and weaknesses of my application form, so I went to Career Center for advice. The people at the center were happy to help me with even the smallest of issues, and they helped me ease my worries, so I was able to write my application. I often went there before submitting documents and before interviews. I'm sure that you juniors will also be worried because there are many companies and you are interested in many things, but I hope you will work hard to achieve your goals and find the place you want to go and what you want to do.

Just like with exams, we recommend that you start job hunting early.
I've loved trains since I was old enough to understand, and I wanted to be a train driver in the future. During my job hunting, I was worried about what I would do if I was rejected by all the companies, and whether I would be able to get a job at a company where I could do what I wanted to do, but I was able to solve these worries by listening to my teachers and Career Center and getting advice. Thanks to Career Center 's help in correcting my resume and giving me detailed advice, I was able to pass the document screening of all the companies I applied to. In addition, I was often accompanied by them for interview practice, which was very helpful because it was almost the same as a corporate interview. Just like with entrance exams, the earlier you start job hunting, the more confident you will be and the more relaxed you will be. Also, in your third year, studying becomes more difficult and it becomes more difficult to find time, so I recommend that you make sure to get enough credits.

It's important to think of job hunting as an experience and enjoy it.
I had an invaluable experience as the head of the baseball club for four years at university. I decided to work here because I wanted to give back to the university. The staff always warmly greeted students who were working towards their dreams, and I want to become a person like that. During my job search, the baseball club coach, Career Center staff, my seniors, and my seminar teachers all had different opinions and ways of thinking, but they all kindly gave me advice. Job hunting can be difficult, but it's important to enjoy it without feeling like a burden and think of it as an experience. You will probably have countless worries, but there's no doubt that everything you do will be a valuable experience in your life. What you do as a student will be your biggest selling point, so do your best to do what you can while you're still a student!

Make use of Career Center instead of trying to find a job on your own!
I am from Indonesia and had no idea about job hunting in Japan. I originally wanted to pursue a career other than employment, so I think I started job hunting later than Japanese students. I started job hunting in the spring of my fourth year. I used navigation sites and agents to look for jobs, but it didn't go well and I was rejected by several companies. I was very disappointed at that time and decided to consult Career Center. At the recommendation of Career Center, I decided to participate in an interview session at the Foreign Employment Service Center. I decided which companies to interview with before the interview session, created a resume at Career Center, and thought about my reasons for applying. After that, I was taught how to write application forms and emails, and also practiced interviews. Thanks to that, I was able to get a job offer from ESPEC Corporation, which was my desired company. Looking back, I think that before I went to Career Center, I was acting on my own without any knowledge about job hunting in Japan. The advice and guidance I received from Career Center made my job hunting process much smoother. I think it is very important for international students who are thinking of finding a job in Japan to regularly consult with Career Center from the second semester of their third year and learn about job hunting etiquette, how to write a resume, company information sessions, etc.
