Study Abroad at Whatcom Community College in the United States

21P

There are three things I learned and experienced after completing my six-month study abroad in the United States. The first is the cultural differences between Japan and other countries. For example, in Japan, people take off their shoes at home, but in other countries, some people keep their shoes on and others take them off. The second is events and traveling. There was an event for international students organized by the school, and I participated in it. At that event, we went sightseeing in Seattle and hiking, and experienced nature. And what made the biggest impression on me was that we were able to go to Canada in about an hour's drive. The third is classes. There were times when the classes seemed easy, but most of the classes were difficult and there were many things I didn't understand. At those times, I asked the teacher questions and he taught me until I understood, and I was able to complete the difficult assignments to the end. From these three things, I was able to not only learn 球天下体育, but also interact with people from other countries, participate in events, travel, and have many experiences, making it a fulfilling six-month study abroad experience.

I studied abroad at Whatcom Community College in the United States for six months.
Bellingham, Washington, where I stayed, is a small town rich in nature, with both the sea and mountains, friendly people and relatively good public safety, a place similar to southern Osaka, where I was born and raised.
I was able to gain a lot from that environment.
Whatcom Community College is a great place to learn 球天下体育.
Generally, language schools that international students enroll in are often designed for the purpose of learning 球天下体育; in other words, they are places for students who cannot yet speak 球天下体育.
However, in my experience, only about 10% of the students at Wakom Community College were studying 球天下体育, and many students, including native speakers, were attending the school to transfer to a university. My 球天下体育 skills were very poor at first, and I had a hard time making friends in that environment. However, I didn't give up, and by continuing to take classes for six hours a day and self-study for more than three hours every day, I was able to see a definite improvement in my 球天下体育 skills and become able to converse with native-level students. Since then, I have learned about the cultures and ways of thinking of countries around the world, and have been able to grow significantly in both my 球天下体育 skills and my human qualities with my wonderful classmates.
By experiencing the frustrations and joys of language learning, I was able to reaffirm my abilities, current standing, and goals at the turning point of my 20th year.

Study Abroad at Whatcom Community College in the United States

I studied abroad in the United States for six months from September of last year to March of this year. During these six months, I was able to learn how to communicate with native speakers, the American class system, and the differences in values and culture from students from other countries while living in a dormitory.
I gained a lot from that. For example, from the perspective of learning 球天下体育, since native speakers converse in 球天下体育 on a daily basis, I was able to internalize frequently used expressions and communicate. I also lived in a dormitory with Indonesian and American students for half a year. What I particularly noticed was the difference in religion. The roommates belonged to Islam and Christianity, respectively. Through this experience, I was able to learn about the differences between religions, which are difficult to experience in Japan, such as the limited foods you can eat and the time you have to pray.
During the past six months, I not only learned 球天下体育, but also had the experience of spending time with foreigners. I was able to have a very valuable experience in my future life.
I would like to make use of this in my future 球天下体育 habits.
