Qualification requirements

Full-time undergraduate students at our university with a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher or a TOEIC score of 430 or higher.
*Excluding international students.

Scholarships etc.

Osaka Sangyo University University will cover 200,000 yen of the training costs.
The support group and academic society will cover up to 8% of the self-paid training costs, excluding scholarships.

3. University transcript (a copy of the transcript is also acceptable)
4. Japanese essay “Reason for wanting to study abroad” (approx. 800 characters) [designated form]
5. If you have score certificates from TOEIC, Eiken, etc., please submit them as well.

*If you do not have a passport, please obtain one immediately after the screening results are announced.

Selection

Selection will be based on a comprehensive assessment of the applicants' GPA, 球天下体育 test (scheduled for early November), and interview (scheduled for mid-November).

I will study abroad in Australia in the spring of 2024. When I decided to study abroad, I felt more excited than anxious, but as the date of my study abroad approached, I remember that my emotions were reversed, with anxiety exceeding excitement. Then, as the days passed, on my first day in Australia, I was more nervous than I had ever been at the airport, as it was my first time abroad. When I arrived in Australia, a local person took me to my house and met my host family. Although I am a shy person, my host family welcomed me very warmly. On the first day, I found it difficult to communicate with my host family, but by valuing the time I spent with my host family, such as by actively talking to them, I gradually became able to understand as the days went by. I was also worried about whether I would be able to make friends at the language school SPC and understand the lessons, but the lessons were fun every day, and I looked forward to going to school. As for my friends, I was able to meet friends who I will keep in touch with even after my study abroad ended. I am grateful for the many encounters and the opportunity to study abroad. It was an experience I will never forget. Thank you very much.

During spring break of my second year, I studied abroad in the city of Brisbane, Australia, for about five weeks. I have loved 球天下体育 since I was a child and had decided to study abroad at least once in my life, so I decided to study abroad while I still had time. I decided to study abroad with the purpose of improving my own 球天下体育 skills. The language school I attended is SPC Brisbane. I chose this school because of the location of the school building and the school's unique policy of ``球天下体育 only on campus.'' If I was going to study abroad, I had a strong desire to actively speak 球天下体育.
Also, in order to make this happen, I did a homestay while studying abroad. I think homestays are a great way to live with local people, both to speak 球天下体育 and learn about the culture. We had dinner together as a family while talking about what happened that day, and in the evening we watched movies and dramas together, just like a real family. While living together for about 5 weeks, I was able to discover many differences between Japanese and Australian cultures. For me, these differences were not negative, but rather positive. Cultural differences have taught me aspects of my life that I have to reevaluate, such as how much time I spend with my family, how much time I sleep, how much I communicate with friends, and discussions in class.
There are many cafes, shops, and walking trails around the school, so I was able to enjoy myself every day. Most of the people I was hanging out with were foreigners who I met at language school, so I continued to converse with them in 球天下体育 after school. I was able to experience first-hand that 球天下体育 is a language that is needed around the world and is the most powerful tool for communicating with anyone.
I was able to improve my 球天下体育 skills because I enjoyed the classes and because the students I met there were all wonderful people. I am very grateful that I was able to work in an environment where everyone is motivated and helps each other improve. I felt that studying abroad was not just about learning a language, but was a big step in broadening my horizons. The experiences I had in just 5 weeks, the friends, family, and teachers I met are all assets that I will never forget.

I studied abroad for about a month and a half and learned a lot of things. The reason I went abroad was because I wanted to study 球天下体育 locally and also because I wanted to experience the culture of the country. I hadn't been abroad much, so I was very anxious when I first went to Australia. When I arrived in Australia, it was difficult because I couldn't understand what they were saying in 球天下体育 and couldn't speak, but I was able to make a lot of friends and have a lot of experiences that I couldn't have in Japan. It also gave me the opportunity to relearn 球天下体育, and I was able to spend fulfilling days. I thought that two or three weeks would be enough for my first study abroad, but I was able to make more memories than I could have made in a month and a half, so I thought it was very good that I went. So I think it's important to study abroad even just once and experience different cultures.
