Scholarships are provided by the government and scholarship organizations to international students who have excellent academic performance and character and need financial support to continue their studies abroad.

About applying for the 2024 scholarship

Application registration is online using WebClass.
Please register from WebClass during the specified period.
The link for the registration screen will be distributed from the portal in early April.

Other scholarships

Here, we will introduce applications where the application qualifications are other than academic results at the university, or where the application is made by the student himself/herself. For scholarships that are not listed here and the university has requested a recommendation, the university will select a recommender from among those who have submitted application documents.

As soon as we receive notifications, we will send them via email via the portal system.

In order to receive a scholarship, you must submit a scholarship application registration form at the beginning of the academic year (April).

Those who wish to receive a scholarship must first register to apply for a scholarship within the specified period at the beginning of the academic year (April). Students who have registered to apply will be screened primarily based on their academic performance, and each scholarship recipient will be determined.

If you do not register your application, you will not be recommended for any scholarships.

If you do not register your application, in principle you will not be able to receive recommendations for any scholarships that are open for applications this year (including scholarships that are open for applications in the fall and are scheduled to be paid the following year).

Application registration period: Around mid-April (may change depending on the year) *The deadline for submitting an application registration application will be announced on the bulletin board from around mid-March.

Depending on the scholarship, there may be a separate recruitment process.

Separate recruitment may be held for some scholarships such as the "Japanese government government-sponsored foreign student (domestic recruitment)". In that case, even if you have already registered your application, you will need to submit the application documents for that scholarship again. Recruitment notices will be posted on the bulletin board.
